We offer pre-ballet through advanced classical ballet with pointe.  The levels are as follows:

Pre-Ballet/ages 3 to 4 years - pink leotard: an introduction to the wonderful art of ballet through a combination of creative dance and basic ballet technique.

Basic Ballet/ages 5 to 6 years
- white leotard:

Basic Ballet/ages 7 to 9 years
- blue leotard:
a formal introduction of traditional ballet techniques.

Intro to Pointe: ages 10 & up
- hunter green leotard

  
     
Elementary Ballet/ages 8 to 10 years - hunter green leotard: a full exploration of classical ballet techniques and forms.

Intermediate Ballet with Pointe/ages 11 years & up - burgundy leotard: a traditional classic ballet class with barre, centre practice and traveling combinations.  This class incorporates pointe work. Students dance twice a week.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet with Pointe/teens and adults - black leotard: This class develops the dancer technically with focus on balance, strength, alignment, flexibility, vocabulary and proper placement.  Students dance three times a week.
 
 

Fairy Princess with Mom & Me/2 to 3 years - pink leotard: a fun introduction to dance for children developing their coordination.  The teacher guides the parent and toddler team in a way that makes discovering movement, balance and listening skills easy and fun.

Creative Movement/ages 2 to 4 years - pink leotard: an introduction to dance with the primary goal of fostering a love of movement. The creative component is large and the class is filled with fun special activities.

Jazz Dance/all ages - leotard with black jazz pants or shorts (Balletworks t-shirts can be worn) and black jazz shoes: a structured dance class that uses the style seen in many Broadway shows like "Cats".

Tap/all ages - leotard with black pants or shorts (Balletworks t-shirts can be worn) Black tap shoes: a traditional tap classes that incorporates rhythm, musicality and coordination while having fun.

Basic Ballet for Teens & Adults - Black leotard: a recreational ballet class for students who have not taken ballet before and do not wish to follow a syllabus.

Modern-Contempory for Teens - leotard with black jazz pants or shorts (Balletworks t-shirts can be worn) bare feet: a classical contemporary dance class incorporating various modern techniques such as Laban, Graham and Limon as well as encouraging creative exploration.

Each ballet level is color coded - In addition female students must wear hair in a secure bun, pink footed tights leather split-sole slippers (no street clothes)  Male students should wear white t-shirt, black tights and white slippers.

Competition & Performance teams are by invitation only.

All Children 5 & over enrolled in Ballet are eligible to participate in performance awards
